Not Velda, .....Valerie! You got us mixed up.
I am in Illinois... Across the hills, valleys, and low lands, far, far from Teresa. 😉

Wow! What a nice surprise. I’m excited to take a look at the goodies. Thank you for hosting the September lotto! You were such an encouraging/fun host. It was nice to have this to look forward to.

I’ll let you know as soon as I receive them.

Wow, what a surprise I got today, my DSIL Tina
came over today with a package, thank you Teresa, Mary go and Maryq for your generosity to split the lotto with another person, I can't believe I got some beautiful squares and this was my first time participating in the lotto. Thanks to everyone who contributed to this.

I received my blocks a few days ago. I just finished putting the blocks together last night. When I get a moment I'll post a photo. It was nice to see that you were able to add another winner!

Take care and thank you for hosting!

Here are the pinwheel blocks. I got it out to 46" square. 3" white inner border, 1.5" colored border, and a 4.5 inch white outer border. I wasn't sure about all of the colors and styles mixed together but I think it came out fine!! I'm calling it "Candy".

Teresa:

I’m sorry, I didn’t see your post until just now. I think I’m going to cut the remaining blocks down just a little bit and make a table runner. Oddly, I’ve never made any table runners. I’m looking forward to it.

The one I posted is at the quilter now. I selected a mauve/lilac minky for the backing. It should be nice and cuddly! The quilting pattern has butterflies and flowers. I’m not sure about the binding. It will most likely be a solid since the rest is busy?? I bought white batting to keep it fresh and clean looking.

Take care,
MaryGo
