Velda.... That IS a great Idea.... I never thought of that! I was all set to cut out strips from the background fabric I used... but hey.... I'm really liking that black sashing idea! now to find my black fabric!

It took a week to clear the decks around here so I could get this last block made. But here it is. Hopefully I will have time to put the entire quilt together before the end of the summer

Here is a picture of all of my blocks together. All done in 30’s reproduction fabrics. I think I will use white sashing that matches my background fabric with cornerstones of all the different fabrics used in the blocks. I may do a piano key border with scraps. Still working it out in my head

Oh ladies I am loving these quilts. The colors are great in each one. and each quilt has a different vibe.
Congratulations for getting you blocks done.
