Sew A Long Week 15
Good morning all
This weeks block is the SILENT STAR block. It can be found on page 53 of Forty Fabulous Years and page 35 of Victory quilt.
Basically this block is made up of half square triangles and Quarter square Patches. all will be 4.5 inches unfinished. You should end up with a 12.5 inch block.
Fabric needed Background 1 5" by 10" for corners and 2 5.5 " squares for points and center.
Light Medium 1 5.5 inch sq for star points
Dark Medium 2 5.5 inc sqs for star points
First dark 1 5inch by 10 inch for corners
Second Dark 1 5.5 inch sq for center
I cant believe this is my last block to post. I hope you are all having fun . I believe last weeks block was the hardest. You have had to make Half sq and Quarter sq blocks along with flying geese and 9 and 4 patches.
I hope nothing has been to hard. I can not wait to see your finished top weather quilted or not. They all will be wonderful quilts.
And a true Tribute to Eleanor.
Mary will post pictures a little later I got my picture to her late.

Thanks ladies. You both have made this fun and challenging. I have my paper sketch and my directions written out. Now to pick my fabrics. That's always the fun part.

Got mine done early this morning because it’s going to be a very busy week. And I don’t want to fall behind again
You girls have chosen excellent blocks! I have really enjoyed everyone of them. This will be as fun to put together and display in my home as it was to make. Thank you both so much! 🪡
