WEEK 13 SEW ALONG

Good morning girls. Can you believe we are almost there .
This weeks block is CUPS AND SAUCERS from Forty Fabulous Years book. If you have book it starts on page 95.
you will need 1 4.5 inch sq block for center.
8 flying geese 4.5 by 2.5 two different colors

4 half square triangle blocks in 2 different colors.
for corners you will need first background 5 by 10
first medium 5 by 10 place these pieces right sides together mark center then draw a diagonal lines . sew .25 seam on both sides of diagonal lines cut on middle line and both diagonal lines.
This block is not difficult .

WATCH FOR CONTEST IN WEEK 15. ALL I AM GOING TO SAY IS GET THOSE BLOCKS DONE.

I've been on the sideline looking at everyone's progress.
Katy, I like your colors on this block.
MaryQ, your colors remind me of the Colorado flag.

I love all the color combos everyone is using. Makes me wish I were making these blocks in 3 or 4 different styles! We are back from our camping trip but because of our extreme heat wave, I haven't been sewing because the iron really heats up my sewing room. But I have week #'s 11, 12, and 13 now cut out and will have them sewn before #14 appears.
