Everybody ready for an easy peasy block this week!?

Here it is: It's the BOWS block from the Underground Railroad book! If you don't have the book, let me know and I can talk you through the directions.. It's pretty easy,. 1/2 square triangles put together like my picture below. Each small block should measure 4.5" square 3 across, 3 down to make a 12.5" unfinished block

Holler if you have questions

Will I do LOl
According to book directions You start with 5.5 inch squares. You need 5 prints and 5 background sqs right sides together. Draw one diagonal line.
Sew 1/4 " from both sides of drawn line
cut on both diagonals into 4 pieces.
refer to Marys picture for how to sew together.
Let us know if you need more directions.

Here is my version of the bow tie block.
I decided to do a different color arrangement.

I used only 3 different fabrics.
