I had to go take a count - I have all of El's major books (except Elementary) and lots of her smaller booklets. I'm in!

I think I'm in. I have 34 of El's major books and about a dozen of her leaflet patterns. I will do my best to stay caught up once I go back to work at the end of this month.

Since I am here and my books are home I will have to wait to see what I have but rest assured I have a lot. I didnt mean to imply I would copy any pattern from Els books. But we can answer questions and give directions. Els videos make darn near every quilt block she has made in the sew alongs over the years. so they are easy to find even if you dont have the particular book.

I like this idea of no pressure. Also liking that it will gently force me to do a block a week! I am unsure if I'm able to commit yet, as my dad and step-mom might be moving out here.

The sew-along sure sounds inviting! Maryq and Katy, thanks for all the hard work y'all are putting into it.

I finally got here.
Totally agree with Grammiequilts. The videos and tutorials of Els Blocks are many to be found. Just surf the net for them. They pop up easily.
Womster whic I think your name is Sharon, yes, No. going off of memory here which is iffy. I agree with your statement. The sew-along definitely sound inviting!

I know Maryq and Katy, have been putting lots of time and effort to find some beautiful blocks to put a quilt together. Now I hope some of the blocks they choose I will have orphans already to be used. Teehee

Thanks for the update. Want to do this, but some things have come up that might get in my way.

I forget to check the original post for updates. Thanks Lyn for mentioning it.

I will just use scraps from my scrap bin for blocks, no particular fabric theme.

Scrappy is perfect Mary, my batiks will likely end up a scrappy quilt too.
