Maryq I think you actually sent me that fabric some years ago. I don't remember why though.

I also still have 1 yd of the green original Bed of Roses fabric you sent. Can make myself cut it. It is just too pretty

Maryq, I also didn’t have the written pattern.

I enjoyed watching the video Teresa shared in the link and wrote down the sizes of materials as El went through them 😊 there actually weren’t many 😍👍🏻

Happy sewing ladies🧵 🪡

This block looks like fun, I understand why floppy points after watching video and why we are not to trim. LOL Now to find fabric.

Maryq - I like to cut everything over by 1/8" and then trim. Better to be over than under.

Background is cut at 6" Strips then subcut into 6" Squares
Background is cut at 3.25"+ Strips or 3.25" x 6"+ rectangles. Depending on if you are using scraps.
4 colors cut at 3.5"+ Strips or 3.5"+ Squares if using Scraps.

Sew the 4-Patch colors together - Square to 6"
Add 2 opposite rectangles to both ends matching the colors
Sew the other rectangles 3.25" x 6.25" so that you have a background Square on each end. Trim
Sew to the other opposite sides

the triangles are cut from a 6" square cut diagonally in 2 - (I like to over cut mine by 1/8")

Take a look at the square up top and the ones Jacquie made. You will see the square in the center before you add the triangles.

Hope this helps. Always watch the video. But remember she is dealing with strips and not individual scrap pieces.
I am hoping that everyone makes different ones.
Happy Stitching!!!!!

T....
Thank you for the measurements! And now that I've seen the video and look at Jacqui's pictures... it all makes sense!

Thanks

I think I got It! Once I got the right measurements.. they were easy peasy! In fact.... I peaked in my stash this morning thinking maybe.....after a few UFO's.... I might make a whole Winning Hands quilt!

WOW Mary !!!! A while quilt?? That would be FABulous 👏👏👏. This is why I LOVE ❤️ the Lotto. Get my cotton pals loving a new block or one we haven’t done in quite a while.

Katy. You are on a roll!!! love ❤️ your fabrics you chose and sent me in a FB message
🤞🤞 Fingers crossed that you might be a winner also.

Went over to Jamie’s on Wednesday at 1:30. Didn’t leave until 10:30pm. We had a blast pinning my Carpenter Star crochet block together. WOW am I glad I did. I thought I had them all finished. Nope 😢 Now at night and in car rides my hands will be 🧶 crocheting the other half of the triangles along with two white blocks either that or find the box with the rest of them in it.
Got some much needing ironing (ugh 🤦‍♀️) finished ✅ and fabric cut.

Happy stitching 🧵 Pals!!!!

After I got my lotto blocks done.... I thought this was a fun easy pattern.... so went through my fabric stash and found this cute fabric... and figured I'd make a whole quilt! Not sure I'll sash the blocks, but just leave it plain.
