interest in a new quilt block swap
Hello Quilty friends.
Any swaps planned for the new 2021 year!
I would love to join if their is one. Want to start year out with my passion.
Would love to be a simple just a 9 patch. could finish up with an Irish Chain.
Maybe we could make them in each persons favorite color. I love purples.
I have fabrics of all colors in my stash... so this could be an advantage.
Your 9 patch could be in green , blue or a red and white. Alternating block could be white or creams.
Just a 12.5 9 patch block.
I really want a 9 patch in purples.
Let me know some feedback.
Every one stay safe keep sewing

Carolyn, you should host the swap and make it whatever you want it to be. After the 1st of the year would be great.

Sounds interesting, I love purple too! Not sure what a "9 patch" is but I am interested.

Hi, I think the quilt would look something like this once put together. The 9 patch would be purple and cream or white depending on what is decided... quite sweet really!WeSignificant wrote: ↑Fri Oct 30, 2020 5:48 amSounds interesting, I love purple too! (I took this picture off google images, not sure who the quilt belongs to but it's lovely...)

Yes! exactly so simple for daily use. Actually just choose your favorite color... use of those scraps... Everyone could have different colors.
Thank you for this perfect picture post.

Carolyn, this sounds like a great idea! I think you should run with it! Purple and cream sounds like a pretty combination, too.

It sounds like a lovely swap, I like the idea of everyone being able to recieve back their colour choice of blocks back. It would be a good 'stash buster' and very little fabric being purchased, probably only the background fabric.
A nice idea
