Yep, Izzy anything that is not finished as of Jan 1 and gets finished after Jan 1 will count. But just so you know, Oma duties take priority! Just ask little Will!

This is going to be fun. Do you need a projection of what we hope to finish ahead of time.

No projections just post whatever condition they are in when you start (after Jan 1) and then when they are finished. They can be just a stack of fabric and a pattern, a partial finished top, a finished top that is not quilted, a stack of blocks, whatever it is. You can post 1 at a time or all at once. No demerits if you don't get something done. We'd all be in quilt jail then!

Remember our goal HAVE FUN! oh and get some quilts done.

All the projects I brought are UFO's. Since there was no Houston Quilt Show, I haven't added any more which is actually a good thing.

I do have a question. If I find I don't have the backing fabric or need a border fabric to complete a project and I buy it in 2021, does that disqualify the project?

Lyn, as long as part of it existed in 2020, it is still a UFO. It just has to be completed after the first of the year. Many of us don't buy borders and backings until top is complete so that is okay.

To clarify: a non UFO for 2021 contest is something you finished in 2020, or did not purchase any part of it until 2021. If you had the fabric and pattern in 2020 but didn't start it, still a UFO. Anything started prior to 2021 in any state of completeness with the exception of fully complete counts. I have some back from 2007 I am going to try and do/finish.

... I have quite a number of purchased Kits from my travels all over the states waiting to be put together PLUS
... I have 3 HUGE Containers of Monthly Lotto Blocks that have been screaming at me to be put together, these all will count?

... If I am in need of purchasing borders, binding but especially backings for said quilts, this will count?

I have wall hangings, pillows that I have purchased the fabric and pattern in 2020, these will count??

If you say yes to all then I am set. I will only need time.

This will be FUN and exactly what I have been needing and wanting to do for some time.

If anyone needs a quilter please let me know and I will give you a discount for sure.
