MARY ROSE - no worries! I hurried through mine because I wanted to mail my blocks to MQ along with the spring swap blocks I was returning to her to save double postage. And also because I knew our state was going on a modified shelter in place order. Which it just did. And I'm not sure our governor would consider mailing quilt blocks an 'essential' errand. So like Tina said - slow down and enjoy the process.

I too am taking my time working on my blocks. We are in shut down here in Ohio so I am not going to try to mail my blocks until end of April or first part of May. Like someone said I don't think they would consider mailing my blocks a necessity.

By the end of April we hopefully will be back open. If not we are going to have a major recession.

Thanks everyone, it just seems like I should be farther along than I am since I have been off and working on them steadily. I return to work on the first and was hoping to have them completed or at least close to it.

Last night I got all the wheel rim 2 patch sections squared up and ready to sew to the rectangles, and the flying geese step one together, ready to sew.

See you later.

Well I’ve definitely taken Hmmmmmmm my time signing up. Looks like we have one block still let or available to make it as outlandish as possible. Would anyone have an Issue. If I join. join! I know it’s past the date. I got thinking this might be a bit fun to me joining in with my limited skills && move forward on these wagon wheels. Should I plan on a few good men hiding out,).let me know if this his possible. Four this swap which is past the fire date. Is the rumblingWheel wagon block still up for up for grabs? Id have buy some civil war fabrics! I d need to get the pattern from someone & hope you’ll include my late notice. My daughter & I missed our trip to Boston so we’re pretty sad about it all. Hoping to get a bit of sewing in. Let me know, as it’s a bit late for sigh-ups. I ❤️ To sew!

Ugh, I have to unsew all my star point/flying geese blocks. I guess I should have sewn them one at a time instead of assembly line style. Sooooooooooo...

MARY ROSE - hope you got all your un-sewing and re-sewing finished and all is well in your sewing room.

MARY Q - you should be receiving my last two blocks any day now. Wanted to get them off my to-do list so I can settle in making masks,

Mary, yes I got all the unsewing and resewing completed on the Carpenter's Wheel blocks. Now I'm on to the Birds in the Air blocks. Hope they will sew together without a hitch. I will work on them in between ugh-lies that need to be done today to get ready to go back to work tomorrow.

Happy sewing everyone.

Today will start cutting my blocks. I guess I’m really behind rest of ya. I am sure I will not mail until like right at the deadline. Sorry I’m just not fast at it anymore. :D
