Re: OFFICIAL TOPIC UGRR Swap
I’m going to pass on this swap, but will pop in to see some of your blocks. Lots going on right now. I’m headed to Boston for two weeks with my daughter. My other daughter had her sixth baby. It’s a boy. I’m enjoying my cute new grandson. Happy sewing everyone.

Mary, I'll do a second set too! If you can put me down for the Bow Tie block please?

Re: OFFICIAL TOPIC UGRR Swap
Mary, if no one else signs up by the sign-up deadline, and I have enough fabric in my order to do a second set, I would like to take the Birds in the Air block. I will go do my math for the amount of fabric it will take.
I just received an e-mail from Fed-Ex. They picked my order up today. The estimated expected delivery is for the 17th by the end of the day.

Re: OFFICIAL TOPIC UGRR Swap
Quick question
Do all blocks need to be same fabric? I’m using fat quarters so making sure if different is ok.

To Answer Izzy's question and in case anybody else was wondering...
NO you do not have to use the same fabric for all blocks. That would be boring to make all 15 (if the swap fills up) blocks the exact same fabric!
You're talking to someone with the attention span of gnat.... so you know I get bored using the same colors over and over!

Thank you.
Mary I may do a 2nd set as well just don’t have book to see blocks yet. May go tomorrow to library and get copy till mine arrives. Flying geese or North Star. I will let you know which one.
I will wait until last day that way others have free choice til then

MaryQ--so glad you said we don't have to make all blocks identical. My attention span rivals yours for duration. That's the reason I don't do most swaps--I hate making the same block over and over.
I'm getting closer to getting started--still working on the baby layette for the shower. This is great grandbaby #3--all are coming in a cluster in 2020!
