Lori, your blocks arrived! I think they are the last ones. I will sort them all out this weekend and get them into the mail to you all within a day or two. Thank you, everyone, for another great swap! Aren’t you all terrific!

Yesterday I got my fabric pressed and cut into strips for making my blocks. I need to find one more fabric that will work for the second background of the Birds in the Air block. Today I will work on the sub-cuts and start sewing the blocks together.
I could sure get used to being home like this on a regular basis. I only have another 20 months left before retirement. WooHoo...

Uhmmmm Mary you need to go outside get some fresh air. Open the windows let out all the CO2 that has increased your confusion.

Izzy, I think you are right! In fact, I took your advice and open the bedroom window! Hope it works!

MARY Q - I really stoked the engine and sewed like a mad woman yesterday afternoon. I finished my blocks so I could mail them with your Spring Swap blocks and get them to the post office before we are ordered to lock down like California. I believe it is coming and I'm not sure our governor would consider mailing swap blocks an essential errand. Now I'm going to set up a mask factory in my sewing room.

My blocks are done as well. I'll figure out how to print postage online and get them in the mail.

Everyone else is speeding through their blocks, and I am poking along. I have worked on them every day, but it seems as though I am making no progress. There are some things I think I would do differently next time though that might make the process work better for me.

Mary/Rose, take your time. There is no rush. I just needed something easy to focus on.
