Really liking everyone's blocks so far. Really love that little butterfly!

I did make the drive to Petaluma. It's a 45 min drive but it is through a rural farm land area. Lots of new lambs in the fields. They had 1 layer cake that looked a bit springy so bought it. A nice white on white so bought some of that too. Won't be able to use all the blocks but I think there is enough there to get 10 blocks done. Will put the rest away just in case.

Will get started cutting the white today.

Thanks Val, had a great time shopping. Too bad that shop only had that one layer cake,, but it sure was pretty.

I wish you had gone with me to Michaels instead of heading home. Got the greatest plastic containers with trays in them, half price. yay me.

All the white is cut. Pulled out the squares from the pack that I think will work best. Then remembered I needed to make a grocery list, and pull some stuff out of the freezer to make Dad some lunches for the week. Will get back to these ASAP.

All of my stems and leaves are sewn down. On to the petals then the centers.
