Hello Lotto Pals - Yes! We have arrived in the magical time of the Year - Christmas!!!

* This block we are making is the Double Slice Layer cake from Missouri Star Quilt Company. It is a FUN, FAST and EASY block with NO SEAMS to match and they will stitch up very quickly, hopefully with no ripping out the last seam.

* After you watch the Tutorial please make a SAMPLE BLOCK for Placements of your further blocks. This Block is TRICKY. If you do not pay attention you will sew the last 2 sections backwards. Use pins to open it up before sewing. This has been known to happen to many so please WATCH the Tutorial carefully. I really DO NOT like to UNSEW - Ugh

STRIP: (2) WOF Christmas Strips. Please place ruler ON FOLD to avoid Curves
BLOCK: 9.5" Double Slice Layer Cake /Missouri Star Quilt Co.

Watch Tutorial FIRST Please. Take a Picture of the Block for reference as you stitch some beauties together
FABRIC: Christmas Prints and Coordinating Fabric. NO SOLIDS, Please.
FABRIC: After you make the 1st Cut, sew and Cut you will see that you can use smaller sections of Christmas fabrics from your stash before cutting many more 10" squares
STITCHING: Use a Scant 1/4" so it can be trimmed BY WINNER to 9.5"

* Attach your name label to the upper FRONT corner of EACH block
* Attach your name to EVERY SET of 2 Christmas Strips
* Send ALL blocks in one baggie
* Send ALL Strips in one baggie with your name on every set of 2
* Mail blocks with a TRACKING # as soon as possible while enjoying Christmas Festivities!!!

ok count me in I got six done . You said easy and you meant it I hadthese done very quickly

I have eight blocks done. But maybe I need to clean my glasses. I don’t see how wide the strips should be. I think in the past they have been 2 1/2 inches. Is this correct?

Waiting for a layer cake to be delivered, maybe today.

Gosh these are so easy and fun! Lost count of how many I have made so far!

Now I just have to find some strips... I have a HUGE box full!
