I have 2 May blocks cut, can't sew till Dad wakes up.

Hello Everyone,
I put my 4 blocks in the mail headed to Mary's. I was in such a rush to make sure they were mailed that I forgot to take pictures Yes cutting it close for me.

3 are pieced for May Flowers and 1 is appliqued for April Showers. It really is cute. Clouds of Rain drops with a big umbrella below.
I have to be honest though it is not Blanket Stitched. Definitely Ironed securely. I knew the winner would love it so I sent it anyway. I hope this is OK. If not that is ok also

I'm just checking in. I have been going wild making dresden flowers. It is a bit more work than I remember. Getting ready to stitch them down today.

Here are my completed Dresden Flowers. I'm sending in eight blocks and the flowers are all different colors. I ran out of time for April . I was on a roll with the flowers so I just kept going. I didn't make it to the P.O. today but will for sure send them in the A.M. I'm anxious to see everyone's blocks.

I don't do much appliqué so this project helped me work on my skills (or lack of...).
