TERESA, your refreshing iced tea blocks arrived yesterday. Just in time - we're going to 80* in a few days and I'll be needing something to cool me off!

You girls are going to love LOVE all these beautiful blocks when you see them in person! Not too much longer now and they'll be sitting on your own sewing table instead of mine!

I posted a picture in the photo section of a tea party kind of quilt I saw at a quilt show. Kind of an interesting lay out.

CHRISS - what a great quilt in the picture you posted! Can't you just picture it spread out on the grass with all of us gathered around it while you serve us cake?? One of the current magazines also has a great tea party quilt. Who knew we were starting a trend??

Lori, Wonderful! I’ll be on the lookout for those blocks. They are so original-I have a friend who wants to decorate for every single tiny occasion. She would love for someone to make banners for all her gatherings! Do you want me to give her your name?

I have to admit that on the way home from that quilt shop where I took the picture I realized I hadn't asked to take the picture. but she was standing right there and didn't tell me not to take the picture.

Looks like our party will get started before long. yay.
