Hey Girls
Sorry this announcement is so late! I drew names last night but, my internet crashed!
There was a total of 27 blocks--- so there are 3 winners -- each will receive 9 blocks! With a wide border, will make a perfect little lap quilt!
Winner #1 Florence
Winner #2 Lori
Winner #3 Marygo
Thank you all so much for participating! Packages will go in the mail ASAP. We're expecting freezing rain and snow in the next couple days.. so when the roads are clear.. I'll head to the PO. Probably Tuesday! Thank you too for your patience!
So here's the plan:
Gather up those squares and make a block out of 2.5 inchers that measures 12.5". It takes 6 across and 6 down . You can sure put them together in any method you choose. I made one block out of 36 little squares, then I decided to make some strips sets using 2.5" x 18" (or so) strips. (I have a tote box full of just strips) I sewed 3 strips together, then cut in 2.5" segments. Made a LOT of strip sets, then mixed them up so that the same fabric didn't appear twice. Doing it that way seemed a little easier to get a finished block squarable to 12.5" And yes, you can throw an OCCASIONAL Christmas/Holiday fabric in too. Keep solid/white to a minimum. Am looking for a LOT color!

This is what I aiming for. I though this would be a nice easy start to the year... during the year things will get a little more challenging.
Tickets:
1 ticket for each block
1 ticket for each binding strip (2.5" wide x WOF)
As always include $2-3 for return postage.
If you have any questions just give me a holler
received:
Sue K 4 blocks 2 strips!
Lori 3 blocks
Katy 4 blocks
Teresa 2 blocks
Marygo 3 blocks and some strips
Valerie 2 blocks
Flo 5 blocks
Me 4 blocks
