Quilt in a Day Forums

I'm going to have to sit out this month (unless I get to JoAnns in the next 2 weeks).

I have 3 fabrics that MIGHT work and 2 of those probably won't. I don't have the indigo colors. Mine are all navy/sapphire in water, sky or star prints. I'll be following along though, as I do like the quilt picture that Teresa posted.

Linda - Hoping you will be able to get to JoAnn's so you can join us. THanks for loving the quilt choice. I see some Navy Blues, Medium Blues, Lighter Blues. No Red and White but YES to Blue as in Stars. Christmas Blues. I hope you will be able to find some. No pressure at all. Just wishing.

Teresa asked me to share this. Our wonderful Teresa has inspired me to use this month's block for my next church charity quilt. This is just the layout. I am sewing them in rows now. Teresa wanted you all to see what this quilt top will look like. 4 across and 5 down. Then I will add borders to make the required size.
My bed is the only place I have to lay out my quilts.

I kept working at this quilt top and finished it with the borders and all!

great quilt Velda. I especially love that fabric that looks like a mans handkerchief. It's adorable.

You've inspired me. Now I'm thinking of using up my scraps to make a multi colored quilt using 5 inchers.

I used the lightest squares for my center. Then tried to use the medium in the corners. Just liked to balance the colors that way.
Hope it looks ok
