Normally when I would be sewing samples to begin the Lotto Rob and I were doing everything we could to get our Shadow (cat) the surgery he needed after being shot by a 22 caliber that shattered his humerous. So I changed what I was planning to make it easy and uncomplicated for everyone and me.

Maryq - Yup I knew you would love this one. Wonder what you perfect charm pack is. Great to hear you are enjoying the kids. Soak it all up, stay in the moment with them. I know it is always great to get home with all the many memories you now have stored in your heart.

By the time the end of the month rolls around I am hoping to get back to my sewing room. Right now my time is spent with Shadow and his recovery and finishing the quilts others have given me to quilt for them. If I can make these two journeys be good ones moving forward to seeing the light at the end of the tunnel, then the heartache and the anger from Shadow being shot to the quilts being finished become joyful days for me and my friends. I had a little trouble posting pictures.

Teresa, there are three pictures. I'm pretty sure that tow of them have fabric that are ok. the third picture has blue with hints of pink or more than a hint of yellow. Let me know what isn't acceptable and I will make some blocks this weekend.
