It's been a long day and it makes it sweeter by ending it with the Winning names.
First let me say a HUGE THANK YOU to everyone who participated this month. You ALL made some beautiful blocks with some great choices of fabrics!!!!
Because there were so few of us I decided to only choose 2 names giving them a 4x4 square quilt or bigger if they make more.

March is a wonderful month filled with the anticipation of SPRING and EASTER. I took a look at the Tennesee Waltz Quilt but then saw that this Quilt add a different dimension and character to it.
* Perfect time to destashing those small squares for some 4-patches you can make in your sleep - Square UP after making.
* trying the Magic 8 (10.50" Sqaure) or Magic 4 method of HST's (5.25"x10.25") - Square UP after making.
* ADDING a Section of the block we have not done in quite a while. You will need to purchase or borrow the Triangle in a Square Ruler which I hope many of you already have. It is well worth the investment as there are other quilts you can use it with. Amazon Prime: 2day free shipping. Fast/The least expensive.
** TIP: Pay close attention to the way she lays her seams.
** Pay attention to your .25" seam allowance. THEY REALLY MATTER
** MAKE A PRACTICE BLOCK!!!! It is well worth it as there is no wiggle room in this 12.5" block.

My colors are not as dark and bright as they are in the picture PLUS there is a goof I need to fix. Thinking I might need to go to JoAnn's for some fabrics. I am now all out

STARS: MAY have a different center as long as it is the same color with White added.

Ok Teresa I will try to make two I have made the Tenn. Waltz block . But cannot promise more than two . Have all those log cabins to make. But still will have to get into ruler drawer.LOL

Oh my, those are nice, unfortunately, I have no idea where my ruler is to make that block. Well, it's in the shed, I do know that! Will watch from the sidelines also.

Good morning-afternoon ALL

Izzy - Yup! I laid that block out and it stared me right in the face saying "WHAT, you have me going the wrong way!" LOL. Easy fix is right. We will miss you but I hope life settles a bit so you are not so overwhelmed. Busy but peaceful is the way to go.

Katy - Happy news you found the book Hope you find the ruler. It is definitely a good one to have. I do not know why I have not made more of these blocks. Once I got going it was hard to stop. Not going to tell you how many 4-Patches and HST's I have - LOL!!!!!

Lori - Thrilled I pick an All-time favorite for you!!! It is a FUN one and not as hard as I thought. ENJOY stitching up some beauties!!!

Valerie - I will miss you this month but totally understand you moving in of your Dad and not being able to get to your quilting or other joys. Prayers for peace and joy to find you in the little moments.

I am off to make 2 blocks (One heart and my sample for the Modern to make sure it is the right colors) and then I have the Church Newsletter to do that is due today.
