Oh my, Oh my, Fall is so close and coming FAST!! So let us get out those Fall Colors and HAVE some FUN!!!

BLOCK: 12.5" FRIENDSHIP BLOCK WITH A TWIST: Each Block contains using your background and main Fabric ---
1-4.5" Pinwheel Center Section: You can use this method BUT square your Pinwheel down to a 4.5" CENTER Pinwheel. https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=ekYpJzH ... ature=plcp

* 4-4.5" HST's Middle Sections: Take 1-5"sq background and Main Fabric. Place right sides together. Draw diagonal line. Stitch 1/4" away from line on both sides. Cut line. Press to dark side. Makes 2 HST's. Repeat to have 4 4.5" HST's

* 4-4.5" Strip Corner Sections: Take (2) 2.5"x9.25" strips of your background/Main Fabric. Sew together. Cut into 4.5" sections for the corners)

* Use diagram for placement. WATCH THE DIRECTIONS of the HST's.

FABRIC: LOTS OF BRILLIANT COLORFUL FALL PRINTS or TOT's for your Main Fabric.
Small/Medium Dark Creams or /Light Tan TOT's for your background.

* Check Your Measurements: CHECK YOUR MEASUREMENTS - Blocks MUST be able to be Squared to 12.5"

* PLEASE add your Address Label to the Front Corner of each block

WELCOME to ALL. ENJOY making this block. We have made many Half Square Triangles this year so you should have no troubles. It is easier and faster (at least for me) to make it in sections. More acurate although watch your seams as this also is a no forgiving block.

Oh my goodness, what a cool block! Teresa, is there an actual pattern so I can follow directions? I'd like to try this one if so. I love Fall!

I saw this quilt on Pintrest. MSQC calls it the Disappearing Pinwheel but she makes hers with 10" blocks which will give you a smaller block. I made it using bigger blocks but in all honesty making the sections of the block I found much easier, more acturate and faster.

We have made these sections over and over in other blocks this year so I thought it would be a very easy for everyone to make.
