Hi, you don't have to appliqué your blocks, pretty pieced spring fabric blocks will be lovely... Just do that which you are happy and comfortable with
Here are a few 'you tube' videos if you wish to see some simple machine appliqué tutorials. Hugs Jacquie xxx

Hi Deb - I hope not. I know mine will be lots of pieced. A few Applique. I am hoping that this quilt will have equal number of piece and applique so I hope you will join us with some lovely blocks.
Jacquie - Love your blocks!!!! I do hope you will make some pieced blocks to go with your applique beauties. Thank you for posting the tutorials. Much appreciated

BEAUTIFUL Fabrics - GREAT Pattern!!! Brilliant Thank you for sharing!
Thank you for asking about Rob. Continuing his recovery onward
I googled Quilt in a Day video's. I wanted to choose a few patterns I have not done before that really showcase Spring. I found the Fans and Flutterbys pattern. Will play with that come Tuesday. Courtney is here until Monday when we drive her back down to LAX. We are enjoying our time very much. Laidback style ;

Hi all, I've made a few more blocks today. I'm really loving these Springtime blocks...
Here is a picture of my blocks 'sew' far... I wish I could keep them!! lol... I'll have to make them all again I think!!!
I think I just have to make 1 more 6.5" x 12.5" block to keep the numbers correct...
Hugs all, Jacquie xxx

WOW Jacquie seeing them all together makes a FABulously sweet quilt. I can see why you would want to keep it. To answer your sort of question? Yes if you make one more 12.5" x 6.5" rectangle and the hexie block is my mini, which I hope it is, then you have 6 - 12.5" blocks made from different sizes. Brilliant!!!!
