Hi Teresa, I posted my 6 blocks today along with 2 for Tina...
I sent them tracking... Hugs Jacquie xxx

A wee tip for making your blocks... Make sure your diagonal line on your ruler passes through the centre of your squares and through where your logs meet... this helps keep your blocks square also...
I hope I said all of this right!!

So, after starting the log cabin blocks using the 2.25" strips I have two hints for you:

Hint #1.
If you are used to making blocks with strips cut to whole or 1/2 inch increments, please, please, please mark your ruler for the cutting size. Otherwise you will inevitably do what I did and try to cut the strip too large or too small, lol.

Hint #2.
Be careful when cutting the blocks apart. Don't whack into the finished part of the block or you may have to remake some. Tip to myself...Focus, focus, focus.

I completed 12 blocks for Tina to go in the PFTH supplies. Today I was able to get 12 blocks half way completed (even with my booboos)for Teresa to decide how she wants to divide them up for lotto and PFTH.

Today is PT in my neck and shoulder today. All my strips are ready to put the pedal down and the thread to the fabric tomorrow at Jamie's. Today I will work on another quieter project :) :)
Hope you all are doing well with the weather, staying warm and safe.
Happy Stitching!!!

Cannot make blocks...no white/red fabric and no time to shop.

No worries Flo. Totally understand you are quite busy and quilt shops not close enough to you.

Had a FABulous time sewing with our local quilt pals. Lots of chit chat and laughter. I sewed 4 Log Cabin blocks 3/4 finished. Plan on finishing them tomorrow. That will make 5 entered to be divided for Tina and the Lotto and 1 for my "End of Year" Quilt. I still need to put last year's together. Right Velda. Busy we definitely are!!!

Yes, I do need to get busy on my year-end quilt. I won't be entering this month. Just trying to get caught up on my "to do" list.

I will keep in touch with you all anyway.

Good to see you Velda. Hope you are getting much sewing done and that you are enjoying it. Maybe a picture of you and Lynn doing some sewing would be LOVELY!! Thanks for letting me. Hope to see you soon when you are ready.

I just got home from work. After I get something to eat I think I may go back to the sewing room to work on the lotto blocks while I unwind. The blocks should be finished and ready to be mailed by Monday. Hugs
