October LOTTO Block - Disappearing 9 Patch - Fall Colors - THE WINNERs ARE!!!

WOW What a weekend of marathon quilting getting Linda's quilt finished and almost in the mail.
YES Sonya's blocks have arrived and they are SPLENDID FALL!! Beautiful Colors and Fabrics were chosen and arranged into delightful blocks.
What does this mean other than Trick or Treating Night??? PICKING TIME!!!!!!

HELLO EVERYONE and WELCOME to October's Lotto. FALL has ARRIVED so this is the time to enjoy those GLORIOUS Colors and Fabrics!!
BLOCK: Disappearing 9-Patch

SIZE: You will need (9) 5" Squares for each block (see picture).
COLORS: STUNNING Golds, Rusts, Greens, Burnt Oranges, etc ...
FABRICS: Larger prints in the Corners with GREAT Coordinating prints and TOTs in the other squares. Make sure you find one for the center that POPs.
LEARNING TIP: No I am not asking for you to be perfect BUT for this block to work (best) it is important for you to LOCK YOUR SEAMS. It will be a lot easier to CUT the BLOCK in HALF (vertical and horizontal) if you have a straight seam to line up on your ruler.
This is what your block will look like when you have finished sewing all 5" blocks together into a 9-Patch and have cut them down the middle both ways.
* After cutting all your blocks, mix and match them into SETs of 4 blocks each. Pin or stitch a nametag across upper right corner.DO NOT SEW THE 4 BLOCKS TOGETHER. Gives more flexibilty to the winners for arrangements.
* If you are using scraps you will need (1) 5" square, (2) 2.5x5" rectangle and (1) 2.5" square for each 7" block
This is my sample block that I will include in my End of the Year Quilt.
** SECRET SANTA's - October/November are month's you definitely want to join us as you can (GIFT) your blocks to her to (1)help her win if she is joining (2) you can gift your WINNING blocks to be mailed to her (c) keep them and make her something special. If you want to be kept anonomous until the Opening Day, please send me PM's to keep your name off the list and to keep in contact. Please also tell me where/when you want me to mail them.

* ALWAYS MAIL with a TRACKING NUMBER
