Ho, Ho, Ho, MERRY CHRISTMAS in July!!! Time to seek out those treasures from last year or take a sleigh ride to your LQS and enjoy some early Christmas fabric shopping!!! This month I was trying to think of a new twist than just making the same size block. I have fallen in LOVE with Quilts that are made from different size blocks so LET'S HAVE SOME FUN!!!!
BLOCK: Any Pieced and/or Simple Applique blocks! You all are doing great with applique!
SIZE: Any 12.5" blocks or sets that include (4) 6.5" any choice of blocks not sewn together and you don't need to make them the same. Plus (2) 12.5" x 6.5". They also don't need to be the same block and can be vertical or horizontal.You may make as many combinations of blocks as your heart desires as long as they equal 12.5" x 12.5"
** PLEASE MEASURE to make sure Blocks are these sizes or bigger. Winners will Square up
FABRICS: I want to leave it very flexible so ALL Christmas Colors are perfect. It can be a Print or a TOT as long as it has FABULOUS CONTRAST.
PLEASE NO fabrics with glitter or black backgrounds. Here are my samples so far.
