Hello all.....


I am so trying to get more than one block.......will hopefully have some to going the mail Monday......but please don't wait on me. Will let you know if I get to the mail Monday.

My favorite memory.........(just in case)

Fourth of July is a special time.......my DH and I were married on July 3rd. Did that because of the type of work he does......he very often works through holidays, except Christmas and July Fourth, lol. This way he is always free for our anniversary!
Sneaky of me, I know.

We were married in our yard under a tree with a few friends and family. My dog, a big ole Rottweiler named Cruz escorted me down the isle. It was a gorgeous summer day and this year will mark 24 years of marriage. He is a great guy, not perfect by any means, but I love him dearly and he supports my sewing machine habit, lol.

Will work on blocks Sunday.......great lotto this month, Teresa.....hope I don't disappoint.

Great to hear from you Joyce!! I know you will not disappoint in any way. Pick some easy blocks and you will have some HAPPY STITCHING TIMES!!

Disappearing 9-Patch or the Red and Blue with background Double friendship are great ones BUT I know the ones you pick will be great!!!!!

You can't go wrong with this one. I LOVE the upper right and lower left. Might even make me one!!!

Teresa: You are confusing me. what are you showing us with this picture? That is a different pattern than we have done for this month?

They are pretty and very patriotic. I guess you are showing that we can take our "winning" blocks and pair them up with another pattern when we put our quilt together??

Please explain what you are trying to tell us.

Oh Velda, glad I am not the only one! I don't want to say some thing and look silly. I think you are right, we could pair these with another block for a two block quilt. If I win, I think I will make a simple throw just to spice up the house for the 4th.

Oh my, oh my how silly I am. A true blonde moment mied with all the R-W-B blocks I have been seeing that I really want to make. I could make a King size quilt if I make them all. So FABulous!!! Sorry to confuse you.
You are right though with your idea. These blocks can be put together with many other blocks you might have stored in your stash or seen on Pintrest to make a SPECTACULAR QUILT for 4th.

I just got news that two of my son's and families are coming to campground to visit for the 4th!!! And...... we are very suspicious that our other son is going to surprise us and be here, too. Tee Hee, I think we got it all figured out. LOL

This will be such a happy 4th of July for Me. I can't even dream to be lucky two months in a row, so I will just be hoping that whoever the lucky winners are, they will enjoy putting together the most beautiful 4th of July quilt EVER!!!

Katy - Yet again I receive some WOWsers FABulous blocks with fabrics not used - PERFECTO!!!!!!!! I haven't seen the ribbon fabric in the shops around me so I am very very happy
