I was just thinking last night...
I think this Swap a Palooza idea, for me...one of "those" who is usually in the group of the last three..or the last...to mail...is great!
It actually takes the pressure off rather than put more on!
I am already looking forward to the jar/ red-white-blue swaps and have all the fabrics pulled to do them...I honestly do not have to buy any at all.:)
So I am even more motivated to do my ISBSues and get her finished...because I will not even think of starting one of the others till I do.
My DH is my cheer leader...he knows I love these swaps.
Plus they keep me out of trouble..for the most part, anyway..:)
There always needs to be a cut off...even the Lottos have one...by the end of each month.
Since you do not have a commitment to follow through on the Lottos...that may be a better fit for anyone who gets stressed on deadlines with commitments...
I sent you a PM, Lyn...I hope you try one of these because they are fun..:)
Another thing about this Swap-a-Palooza...it keeps me motivated and gives me something to look forward to throughout the year..:)
Especially because it looks like I'm going to get a brand new LA Quilt machine for Christmas!...WoooooHooooo!!!! :)

Sonya.

We as hostesses have taken the time to plan out great swaps in advance this year so you can plan ahead in case you want to keep an eye out for fabric on sale, or look in your stash etc. It isn't meant to be more pressure to get your blocks done faster. We have looked back over the years of our swaps and tried to make things run smoother, and iron out problems that we have had. I am really excited about the swaps coming up and hope you all will be too.
I feel like we have the most talented quilt block makers on here and I really enjoy and love all your creative artwork. Thank you all for continuing to share your beautiful creations with me. Vinae
