I'll be getting a couple this weekend and have family and friends across the US picking some up for me hopefully, I'll let you know what I get.....also may get one from Canada if 1 of the shops is near where my little brothers girlfriend is going for a workshop next week
Do we know anyone in Hawaii and Alaska?

just wondering...since dont know how quilt police could really follow up but on the official site of one of the local quilt shops someone asked about copying or sharing the different patterns and in capital letters the response was 'no copying or reprinting of patterns'. doesnt hardly seem fair cause how are is anyone going to make it all over the country and to canada to collect them all?

I cut and pasted from my thread I started so all would see it here too:)
I posted this in sewin and Jana also mentioned a good idea to start a thread so here it is.
The shops offer these patterns for free but you must go in to get them. So have fun shop hopping for your free pattern and then let us see what you make. Some shops offer prizes too if you bring in your finished quilt:)
Here is the main Page:
http://www.rowbyrowexperience.com/'>htt ... ience.com/
Here is the map: Now you can uncheck the boxes to limit group with your state only and near by states; then just go onto the map and click on your state to enlarge it and spread out the pins:)

Post which shops you are going to and their webpage or just post a pic link of the Row by Row pattern. This way we can see it too.
Here are the KY ones Sharon and I are going after:)

Re: National (State) Row by Row Free Quilt Patterns
THIS IS WHAT I COPIED FROM THE OFFICIAL ROW BY ROW PAGE ON SITE I FOUND FROM IZZYS ORIGINAL POST:
2015 Row by Row Experience FAQs
I'm a quilter, how can I participate in the Row by Row Experience?
It's easy! Simply visit any participating quilt shop during the summer and ask for their free pattern for a row in a quilt. The 2015 theme is Row by Row H20, and each shop is working with the water theme in their row. The shops are happy to give you the pattern at no cost, limit one per person, walk-in customers only.
The shops are all over the U. S. and into Canada. How can I get the row patterns from quilt shops that are far away from me?
You can't. The shops are offering the pattern only to customers who walk in the door. Please don't ask them to email or mail their row patterns.
Can I make copies of the patterns I collect?
Absolutely not!! That's a big no-no! The patterns are copyright property of the designers.
