Secret Pal's are meant to be a source of encouragement throughout the year without breaking the bank. This is an "every other month joy with a pal" to join if you like to receive a little something in the mail and get to know a pal a little bit better... Be thankful, appreciative, SECRET and COMMUNICATE. Please DO NOT BREAK the HEART of your SP or my HEART. IT IS AN OBLIGATION and it needs to be taken seriously. If you are a person who can't make a block within 10days and send it on time with a note and FQ then please DO NOT sign up.
Here are the RULES to FOLLOW:
* February - Sign up on this thread by the 28th
* I will PM you your Pals name by midnight CA time last day of FEB
* You will then go to her HINTS posting (top of Swaps page) to gather her info.
* You will then make ONE - MUST BE ABLE TO SQUARE TO - 12.5" block of your choosing to send her along with a FQ of good quality fabrics and a NOTE from YOU. Please NO see-through fabrics. You may ask me questions in a PM to ask her. I will PM you the answer.
* Please TAKE A PICTURE of your block/FQ and POST if you are able or send it to me in an email.
* MAIL with a TRACKING # NO LATER THAN the 10th of March
* PM me the Tracking #. THIS IS A MUST. If your package does not arrive then I will still know you mailed one and we will be able to continue while you investigate.
* DO NOT POST on the thread that you mailed. It is a secret till the end of the month when I reveal ALL names. You can always leave sneaky hints with the help of others
* POST a "THANK YOU TO MY SP" as soon as YOU RECEIVE your package. DO NOT SAY HER NAME. THIS WILL KEEP IT A SECRET FOR AS LONG AS POSSIBLE.
* Do emergencies arise? Yes so if you can't make a block then please MAIL 2 FQ's in her colors with a note. We all have fabric in our stash to share with a friend. I also suggest that you pick up a few Secret Pal cards at Walmart or Hallmark to have on hand that will hold a block and a FQ. That way you will be all set to make and mail.
* THIS IS IT - NOTHING MORE. ABSOLUTELY NO EXTRA's (unless it is her birthday month). This will keep the expense down and equal among everyone. FUN and FAST!!
