I think the more we keep busy the more time flies because we are having FUN - FUN - FUN!!!! OCTOBER IS HERE!!!! Another FALL in love with "THANKSGIVING" FALL FABRICS and your RULER.
** A variation of the HALF LOG CABIN 12.5" Unfinished block in 2 different WAYS - One way or BOTH - It is YOUR CHOICE.
Here are 2 examples of which way you can make them. Single one is from Jacquie.




** Begin with a 6.5" block from a Large/Medium Fall PRINT Fabric (OR) a 6.5" Maple Leaf Block.
** Add your Fall Contrasting 2.5" strips to the left side first and then the top and repeat 2 times more to reach 12.5"+.
* Good Contrasting TOT's and PRINTS
* ABSOLUTELY, ABSOLUTELY, ABSOLUTELY NO SOLIDS PLEASE
* If you use a fabric like Stripes/Checks please cut to pattern
* Please WASH your fabrics to check for bleeding.
* Square up AFTER every set of strips added to the square -
8.5", 10.5", 12.5"+ (You can cut your last 2 strips to 2 5.8")
* MEASURE to make sure it is 12.5" or more BUT DO NOT Square up AFTER the LAST 2 Strips.
* PLEASE "Name Tag" each block in the Front Left Corner and Place ALL blocks in ONE LARGE BAGGIE. Mailing labels are great for this
* Please SEND $2-3 to help with shipping to the winners

Oh Izzy you do still have alot of health situations going on with your family. Always prayers sent upward for you all. Would love to have you join BUT first and foremost you and your Dad and Hubby come first so do not be sad. We will see you when all settles and all feeling much better. HUGE HUGS!!!!

i love fall colors. couple questions tho...what size starting blocks to make maple leaf, 2.5inch? and is the pic correct for finished placement of maple leaf w surrounding strips...i think not from description but just checking? i might try one or two. marcia
