CONGRATULATIONs THIS MONTH GO TO
JACQUIE and MARY!!!!! This will make a great Quilt with Lots of Colors!!!Hope you post pictures when you have played with them!!!

In the future we will come back to this block. You all did very well on the 9-patches with some hiccups on the snowballs. It is a fun block to make and I know we will love to make them again.

Are you ready for 1 more SUMMER Block?? Yes Fall is just around the corner and I know you need to clean up all those summer leftover colors so you can put them away.
This month will be made up of (4) 6.5" blocks.
* Here is a picture for you to follow.


(2)1st BLOCK - 9-patch made from 2.5" strips opposite TOT White.
(2)2nd BLOCK - TOT White 6.5" Sq w/ Colored 2.5" corners Print squares
* Give yourself a couple of extra fibers. Better over than under
* DO NOT SEW TOGETHER
* PLEASE DO NOT SQUARE-UP
* They must be 6.5" - Do a test block to find 1/4" seam. As you see in the picture accuracy is Important for this Lotto. SLOW & STEADY
* Click on this link.http://www.quiltinaday.com/freepattern/ ... eepattern/ Go to the "Scrap 9 Patch" pattern for the instructions of making the 9-patch. Be careful to CUT a few extra fibers to give yourself breathing room. Any questions give me a holler or ask anyone here.
*Fabrics: ANY Summer PRINT colors with TOT's Whites
* If you use a fabric like Stripes/Checks please cut to pattern
* Please WASH your fabrics to check for bleeding. I dunk mine in hot water and ReTayne and then dried
* PLEASE "Name Tag" each block in the Front Corner and Place in LARGE BAGGIE. Mailing labels are great for this

Jacquie - Thrilled to see you here again and that your sewing groove is coming back alot easier now Yes the Log Cabin will be 2.5" BUT take your time - enjoy these blocks - LOL!!! I was just thinking - My mini will be a mini unless you make a mini of all 4 of them together. Now that would be a hoot!! Ooo is that a challenge??? Time will tell

Yes, Teresa, I will join you this month. I love the nine patch and snowball. I think this is a nice easy one and I will have time to make a few.

Velda - THRILLED you are here this month. You are right this will be a FUN one to put together.

Jacquie - You betcha!!! If I calculate right your blocks would be 3.5" unfinished which would mean your strips would be cut at 1.5" - Right??? Oooooo that is a wee bit tiny but so MUCH FUN!!!!
