Married a fantastic guy August 4, 2012. Two days after the wedding he was diagnosed with terminal brain cancer. My darling DH passed away on January 19, 2014 so I am trying to find a new normal and keep life going. We have 2 kids still at home - Jim, 21 and Robbyn, 17. We love to travel and love the 1000 Islands, Portland, Maine, Chicago and New Orleans. The holidays were not nice to me emotionally and now that we are approaching anniversaries (Jan. 3 was when we met, Jan 2. he was admitted to ICU, he passed Jan. 19) Had my shoulder replaced on July 24 and am still struggling.

I have 2 boys, Kevin, age 24 and Dennis age 21. Both still living at home and attending college. I am still employed. I work for the largest distributor of Coats Thread (that's right!) I drool every time I see a cone of thread. I work in IT and am in charge of the software. I love what I do but I'd really like to retire and quilt full time (who wouldn't?). I'm just waiting until the kids are out of house and self sufficient. I'm really into being green, recycle, reuse, repair it. I had solar installed on my house to generate my own electricity. So I love repurposed stuff. I'm trying to slow down and enjoy each day to the fullest.

I am a university student in England who loves the outdoors, spends lots of time in the countryside with my dogs or my cycling friends.
