This is our Resolution/UFO Club! Wow. We have a lot of plans and positive energy. Go us!
If you missed out, you may join us at any point in the year.
We each are signing up for New Year's Resolutions. Some can be non-quilt, but at least one should be quilting related. We are not betting or sending anything. This is a place for cheering, encouraging, and celebrating! - the things at which this site is most awesome!
We will post our resolutions, make monthly updates, and talk about roadblocks.
** Lurkers and cheerleaders are always welcome.**
When you update or change your list, just copy it from your previous posting and write in the updates! Keep done ones on the list so we can keep feeling accomplished the whole year though!
Have fun. Pam

This is cool - I really would like and NEED TO ...
#1 - Quilting for as many Pals that would like me to

- Thanks Valerie for the Gibbs Smack - Silly me - Grin!!
#2 - Find some GREAT LOTTO Blocks for the Pals to make easily
#3 - Encourage Pals to feel comfortable in joining Secret Pals. I will even be JOINING IN on the FUN even though I coordinate it. I can still be surprised
#4 - Finish Paul and Sandy's Grandmother's quilt and in the mail by the middle of January at the latest.
#5 - Go through the top of 2 closets to figure out what I should keep or give away.
#6 - I will finish the Owl Quilt and the Black/Colored 4-Patch Quilt for the AV Fair.
Will be fun to see how I do

Okay here we go:

2. I will finish Jim and Connie's quilts for Christmas 2012 (Teresa, please add the quilting to your list)
3. I will remember to take my medicine at least 6 days a week
4. I will loose at least 15 pounds (prayer please!)
5. I will make the Lotto blocks at least 9 months of 2012

When I look at this list, I guess I didn't make much progress! Oh no! I better start spending more time in my sewing room and less time in my fifth-wheel!
1. Barbie Quilt - whole cloth - WAITING FOR DH TO QUILT
2. Buzz Lightyear Quilt - whole cloth - WAITING FOR DH TO QUILT
3. Quilt from Sept, 2010 lotto blocks - STILL IN BAGGIE
4. Quilt from Mar, 2011 lotto blocks - STILL IN BAGGIE
5. Quilt from block swap on another forum from 2006 - STILL IN BAGGIE
6. Quilt from blocks my friend gave me in 2008 - CAN'T FIND THEM
7. Quilt #1 from app. blocks I found in thrift shop-2009 - NOPE
8. Quilt #2 from app. blocks I found in thrift shop-2009 - NOPE
9. Quilt from blocks I made/rejected for my Autumn Star project. DONE
10. Nag DH to quilt my lodge swap quilt - DONE (both nagging and quilting!)
HOWEVER - I did finish:
1. piecing king-sized log cabin (waiting on the quilter now)
2. appliqued jungle animal quilt for baby gift
3. Country Lanes purple quilt for friend with ca
4. Binding & label on RV Rally group-made quilt
5. 24" UGRR quilt for El's HOF Induction
6. Top for library wall--themed wall-hanging for DD
And I need to add to my list - and finish in next 3 months - throw quilts for each of my three DOs (Darling Offspring).
To all that, I have my on-going projects for ME:
1. Alsakan Sampler quilt started in 2006
2. 60" Applique quilt from Sisters, OR
3. Dear Jane (about 20% of blocks done)
4. 5 wall-hangings
My big snag is my DH is my quilter. He does great work, but only when he feels like it! And if he has clients (other than me) they always get to 'jump the Quilting Queue'.
To top this all off, I'm learning to make jewelry and hope to be spending time doing that, as well!
I've often said I need a mini-me!

Oh, you guys. I have no ides how many projects I have started. I could probably end up with a 50+ item list! I wonder if the month I do the sewing room, I should do up a list of UFO's to cross off as I get them done.

I am sure I will be adding to this list...
#1.I want to start and finish the civil war quilt. It's a gift for a friend who is in a very rough spot.
#2.I want to finish my Grandmothers Garden quilt.Only 4 1/2 more blocks to go.
#3. Finish my fall quilt. It's been in the making for several years.
#4. Finish the 2 quilt tops so they can be quilted for Christmas gifts next year. Need to do the backing and they are both ready to go to the La's this month. They are on her schedule.
#5. Empty one bin of fabric or as much of one by sewing a whole lot.
#6. I am putting the final border on a donation/auction quilt.
#7-finish the binding on my snowman wall hanging-DONE
Vitamins every day-thank you corning!! Doing good on this one
I have been hand quilting the quilt in the frame and a little more and I can roll it!!
Thank You Pam, This is a great idea for this group and it comes from a great person that I am so glad has joined our group this last year!!

Here's what I am thinking for mine:
#1 - I will pick one room of the house per month to totally go through.
#2 - I will finish DB's Christmas present.
#3 - I will finish the civil war quilt.
#4 - I will do at least 2 blocks per month for BOM.
#5 - I will finish the two comfort quilts I have mostly done, and will do at least 2 more this year.
I brought this down in the comments part. We will keep a list of who is playing with us, but everybody will copy and paste to make updates and changes to their own lists. It will be so awesome writing done next to the resolutions as we do them. You have to keep all your done ones on the list, so we can look back through the year and feel good about our industry. Pam

This will be great! I always do better with support from a group. Remember the calcium pills? Still working on that one! I'm the one that by the fourth or fifth month I tend to drop out. Don't let me do that!
1. Take calcium pill at least 4 days a week.
2. Keep remodeled bedrooms unstashed.
3. Clean sewing porch.
4. Finish neices t-shirt quilt
5. Finish cardinal table topper by next Christmas
6. Finish It's El ementary top
7. Quilt yellow brick road top
8. Quilt DGD3 top
9. Delectable Mountain middle block
10. Participate in at least one block of the month, EVERY MONTH
Let's see how this goes!
