First let me tell you that the blocks are in good shape. A little musty because they enclosed the wet package in plastic but they are airing out nicely.
But this is definitely a heads up as to why you should always put your blocks in baggies. They would have been ruined.
When the package came I panicked until I opened it and found they were protected. Whew!
Jo - Your blocks are BEAUTIFUL!!! Can't wait for all the others to come.

I try to remember to do this:

1. Put individual blocks in sandwich sized baggies (2-1/2 strips fit nicely in ziplock snack baggies). Suck the air out of the bags as best as possible, and seal. Make sure your name and address are on each block.

2. Put the individual bags in a gallon (or 2-1/2 gal size, if available to you) and make sure your name and address are on the big bag.

3. Put inside your shipping bag. Address, mail with Delivery Confirmation.

With the recent weather we've had, if you are mailing in a non-tyvek typw (such as cardboard Priority Envelope) I make sure to do the first 2 so that if the cardboard gets trashed, the blocks still are ok.

PS - I can't see the picture on my phone, but I am thinking the envelope got trashed in some way!
