JUNE LOTTO IS ON - DOUBLE WEDDING RING! AND THE WINNERS ARE!
Posted: Tue May 10, 2011 3:16 am
June is the month of many a wedding here in states and to honor all those new brides, we are doing Double Wedding ring blocks (well partial blocks) The instructions are on the site in the theater and in the Egg Money quilt book. Teresa has templates she will send you if you need them.
The rules are:
1930's for the arch in pinks, blues, yellow, purple, green and orange OR
light to medium Rose prints in rose, greens, pinks, yellows, lilac
What you do is make ONLY THE ARCHES AND CUT TRIANGLES and then the winner can place the colored archs where he/she wants. This means you will make the block up to the point of where it is time to fuse them onto the background So what you would actually send would be (if you are sending four blocks) is 16 arches, and 16 triangle corners which MATCH YOUR ARCHES We will let the winners pick their own backgrounds SO DO NOT SEND BACKGROUND FABRIC. It would be nice if you could separate each SET OF ARCHES AND MATCHING TRIANGLES (IE enough for one block) into a baggie and then put the four baggies into a larger bag.
I understand some of you may need to purchase fabric for this one (I will) but what an outstanding quilt it will be.
PLEASE SIGN UP INDICATING WEATHER YOU WILL BE DOING 30'S OR ROSES (you can do both if you so desire)
Don't forget to send $1 to help with postage for me to send the blocks on to the winner's.
