Hello Everyone who wants to participate in the January 2010 Secret Pal Exchange. I am going to host for Jan 2010. If dsf618/deb wants to take over for Feb +, that's great, I will give her the infor I get, but for now, I know there are people who want to get started, so here goes..........if you want to participate, please>>>>>>>>>>>>>

1. PM me, kittyquilt9292, this information NO LATER THAN MONDAY, JAN 11, 2010:
a. your forum name
b. your real name
c. your full address
d. your email address
e. a phone number where you could be reached if needed

2. I will pm you your secret pal on Wednesday, Jan 13, 2010.
Then the fun begins:

3. Go to the Secret Pal hints in the ChitChat Section and locate your secret pal to see what she/he likes.

4. Go to your sewing/quilting/craft room or area and begin "shopping" for items that your secret pal would like
AND/OR
5. Make something your secret pal would like
AND/OR
6. Last resort, buy something your secret pal would like

7. Write a little description of yourself

8. Put things from #4-#7 into a box and have it IN THE MAIL to your secret pal no later than Jan. 25, 2010. Note: This is a change, having a MAIL BY date rather than a RECEIVE BY date. Should be easier, since it's difficult to know how long a package will take to arrive.

9. Post in this section when your package goes into the mail

10. Post in this section when your package arrives--pictures would be great.

Oh, yes, Please to go to the post "Hints for 2010 Secret Pal Swappers--please post your information here" and respond to the questions. I've started this new Hints post so that we have up to date information and names and just have to search one list. (Thanks for your help in keeping our list up to date).

Remember, friends, this is for fun, not to spend a lot of money, we just like to exchange things and get to know each other a little more. If something happens that your package will not be MAILED by Jan 25, PLEASE, PLEASE, PLEASE pm me before that date to let me know. We all know that things happen and especially in this one because we got started late.

Enjoy and pm me with any questions or errors I've made.

Gonna go out on a limb here and say if we don't hear from or see a post from Deb, by tomorrow morning, Dec. 30, I'll do secret pal for January. Whoever wants to join in will need to send their info to me because I do't have it. We'll say to sign up by Jan 11 and then have the packages to arrive by Jan 25. So, I'll watch today and then if Deb hasn't posted, I'll post for sign-ups tomorrow.

If Deb decides she wants to pick it up, great, I'll pass along the info that I get and she can continue. Is that okay with everyone?
