Well, I must say I am ecstatic to be able to post this month! Even though I am only 50% of 50% of my last list.

I think this month, I will just be grateful to have our beloved forum and friends back after 2 LONG days. Happy busting this month.

Here's the list for September.
* Complete remaining 2 sets of blocks for the SBS Brown/Blue Swap
G10 - Arizona & L6 - Steps to the Altar - DONE and mailed
* Keep up with the SBS BOW
* Work on Josh's Quilt - needs to be off the frame by 10/15
* Work on DWR - top needs to be done by 10/15
* Complete Finishing Instructions for both sizes of Kansas Spirit BOM
* Quilt a baby quilt
* Keep Scraps Cut Up
This is a relatively modest list this month. But I'm itching to start something new and I have several kits so that might happen as well. On the other hand I realized today that I have more quilt tops waiting to be quilted than I do quilts in various stages of progress, so maybe I can talk myself into quilting 2 quilts instead of starting something new.
I'm having a sew-in with several friends this weekend, so there's no telling what will get done.

My list for September is:
1. Make the Sept. lotto blocks (Hapy Scrappy Houses)
2. Continue working on small quilty Christmas projects for my daughter's craft bazaar
3. Maybe get started on my oldest brother's quilt. Each of my siblings is getting a special bed quilt from me designed especially for them. My 2 sis's have theirs' and now it's time to start on the 3 boys.
I really have nothing 'in-progress' right now, which is strange for me.

Halfway through the month! Where did the first two weeks go.
* Complete 2 sets of blocks for the SBS Brown/Blue Swap - DONE & Mailed
* Keep up with the SBS BOW - 3 of the 4 blocks done
* Work on Josh's Quilt - needs to be off the frame by 10/15 - working on this while I 'watch' Leno
* Work on DWR - top needs to be done by 10/15 - completed 6 more melons and have another 7 which need cornerstones
* Complete Finishing Instructions for both sizes of Kansas Spirit BOM - sent 1st option off as draft (have to verify fabric requirements)
* Quilt a baby quilt -- I'm going to skip this again this month
* Keep Scraps Cut Up -- don't look I tossed some scraps I found earlier this month in the bin -- but I didn't create any new does that count?

We're going down the far side of September! Where do the days go?? So far I did my Sept lotto blocks and got them sent off. They went much faster than I thought - only a couple of hours.
For my daughter's craft bazaar I've made, so far, 4 table runners, 1 set of 4 placemats, 2 sets of 4 coasters, 2 potholders, 25 dogerchiefs, 1 wall hanging, 2 reversible aprons, and 4 candlemats. I have a few other projects in progress. And I hope to make several more items as I can sew up to Nov 12. But I've gotten slowed down by my Bernina being in the shop! Hopefully, she'll be ready to go within a week.
I have yet to get out my oldest brother's quilt and start cutting. I do have a pattern and most if not all of the fabrics. I'm afraid to do that because once I do, that's ALL I'll want to work on!
And DH has mentioned a couple times this week that it sure would be nice if WE had a quilt for our bed! And my neice has more than hinted about one for her and even gave me her "specs".
Maybe I need to get a job. I'm always more organized and more productive when I am forced to! haha!
How's everyone else doing on their Sept. list?

4 days left in the month.
My nephew's quilt just needs 1 1/2 blocks quilted before it can come off the frame. I pushed myself to hard Monday or Tuesday and now I'm paying for it. I hope I can still make the Oct 15th deadline to get it off the frame and the DWR on the frame -- but I've got to let my wrist rest.
The DWR still needs a minimum of 14 rings. Six are on my design wall waiting to finish the row. There was no sewing today (Sat) since I'm out at my Mom's. I'm not sure when I'll get home tomorrow, so I don't know how much time I'll have to sew.
This also affects the SBS block. I don't have this week's done, but even if I miss the deadline for the drawing (midnight Sunday) I should be able to get it done by the 30th.
The scrap basket is horrible. Even though I've kept my scraps cut up, my friends' generosity has filled the basket back up. Maybe after I finish the DWR I can spend some time each day working on it.
I've made progress on the two patterns I'm working on. One just needs the yardages updated and the other is probably 1/3 of the way through. I found out they aren't needed until mid-November, so I've got an extra couple of weeks.
The other thing I've done is figured out how big to cut the pieces for the sashing on my 6" Ladder to the Stars. Friday night I got the pieces for the points cut so I have a project to work on next weekend. My DH is conducting a youth orchestra, so while he is rehearsing, I'll work on the sashings.

All I finished up in the last 4 days of the month was the SBS block that was due Sunday and a bit more on my nephew's quilt.
