gingerbread men--LOST PACKAGE LOCATED!

Post by sewcarolyn » Sat Jul 18, 2009 8:20 pm

Deanne's package got lost in Arizona, I think the cute little Gingerbread folks wanted a long vacation. I talked to the owner of a Power Postal Store and she has the babies and knows Deanne! I used the label that was on the envelope she sent which wasn't her address but was the Power Postal Store. The owner of the store peeked inside and knew exactly who it belonged to! She is calling Deanne right now!
Whew...and to those who sent extra to send to her I do have the right address now so she will have more by the first of next week!

I love gingerbread men, women, houses, etc, guess I like to live in the fantasy world LOL. This sounds intriquing, especially if it's late fall. carol/kittyquilt

Chriss...you are looking :)

Carol---yes I am looking at November but will start adjusting the pattern and get it ready to go whenever people start saying yes :)

Lori...I think it will be fun and you wouldn't have to mail them either :)

What size do you ladies think? a square like 10" or 12" finished or a rectangle? And looks like we already might have 5 bakers

ok, I AM looking... but am still deciding... I know it's a ways away but I wonder how big the blocks will be? and I like that you are making a template of the gingerbread man ( I keep wanting to call him a snow man) so that they will all be the same size.... but I am wondering why only 12 blocks... are you thinking wall hanging? or lap quilt??
