Sorry, I didn't put a new posting up for June, yet.
I have been very productive this last month, and it's looking great for June!!!! DH wants me to make 8 insulated wine totes for him to give to customers, and I am trying to get an "inventory" set up for this fall with my bags. Having a blast doing this. What does everyone else have on the burners?

September, I'd really like to see a photo of your wine totes when you finish them. We're always toting wine here and there for one occasion or another. sounds like you'll be busy with them.
You asked about what everyone else has cooking. I have a queen quilt on my L.A. now that I'm just ready to start quilting. It is for the grand door prize at my family reunion in Aug. I'm also piecing a king quilt for my older sis and today my daughter, Lara, who belongs to a craft guild, asked me if I would do some smaller projects for their holiday boutique in November. And there goes my summer!
Love your name. My younger daughter (age 32) is Autumn. And no, she wasn't born in the Autumn! People always ask.

oh wine totes what a great gift idea...do you have a pattern you like...
I have a quilt that needs to be finished in a week to get to a LA quilter and then my summer plan is to learn to use my new vikingMQ and frame (well new to me previously loved by MaryZ)

Let's see---what am I working on.... I have a applique butterfly in progress with 30's fabric, a double wedding ring out of dark scraps, a triple irish chain from the quiltville site,(don't you just love that site?), and a six pointed star. Hopefully I'll get all these projects completed by end of the year.

I'm the director for the local Cub Scout Day Camp in July. I usually have about 60 - 70 boys, ages 7 - 10. I'm still working out my schedule and deciding on the final projects. Usually by this time of the year, I have it all worked out, so I am behind.
I also need to stay caught up with the Send Along blocks and 9-Patch Pick and Stitch blocks.

This months projects have already changed since the 1st!
#1 on the list is still my nephew's quilt, I've got 6 1/2 blocks left to hand quilt and then I'll machine quilt the border. I don't know if I'll get it done by the end of the month or not.
#2 - a new project. I came home from the quilt shop with fabric for a shop sample from 40 Fabulous Quick-Cut Quilts (Fall Frolic).
I'm making the quilt smaller 5 x 6 blocks and I've used a charm pack and jelly roll. I've worked on this for maybe 3 hours and have all but the last seam on the blocks sewn. I'd like to have this quilted and bound by next Friday. We'll see. DONE 6/10.
#3 - Various blocks. I need to make a birthday swap block (done), a Kansas Spirit block (done), and I'd like to make some of the star blocks to go with my birthday blocks.
#4 - Sashing for Ladder to the Stars.
#5 - I've got to write two sets of setting instructions for the Kansas Spirit quilt -- or at least get them far enough along we've got a good handle on yardage requirements.
#6 - Simply because I'm looking for some handwork to take to Music in the Park, Theater in the Park and on our trip at the end of the month, I'll work on my redwork snowmen. I get done what I get done.
Wow. I'm exhausted just thinking about this. We'll see how far I get.

WoW, where to begin:
I'm VERY active with a few projects from 'Projects from the Heart'.
Have a baby quilt ready to quilt (Tossed 9 Patch)with minky backing, still want to make a matching diaper bag <if I have the guts to make one>
Queen size QIAD 'An Amish Quilt' for one of the ladies of our dearly beloved Dentist (his Office manager)
Making a stack of little 'Fairy-Tooth' pillows for our dentist as well. A blue stack, and a pink stack. with little pockets on them for their tooth.
I really need to do more on my Barn Blocks.
Started on 4 or 5 Twin sized quilts from the 'Orion Star' pattern.
<sorry, can't post pictures from them yet>. Just know this new pattern has a 'The Sky is the Limit' mark on it. It's coming out in July, and pre-order for the 'Orion Star' book is open.
I wish I had time to have a quilt-top ready and professional quilted by July 4th, but don't think I can for various reasons.
Trip around the world from QIAD their Troo Bloo fabric line for my MIL.
Twin sized 'How Charming' that's ready to be quilted. This one does not have a destination yet. I would happily trade it for a lap sized completed Quilt from a July 4th (Red, wWite and Blue) pattern.
Bought a book at QIAD from another author (Wonderfull 1 Fabric Quilts by Kay Nickols) and 3 or 4 different types of fabrics for that pattern, to make for Christmas pressents.
Thanks for starting this thread, it puts everything in prospective for me. I'll print out my reply and will NAIL it to my wall in my quilting/sewing room.
I have a pattern, that sprouted out from the 'Day&Night' pattern, which I have hopes to submit to see if El might consider it as a signature pattern. An employee from QIAD saw the quilt top I made from this pattern, and sugested to me to at least try and see. So I have to finnish that top and quilt it. I already bough the quilting diagram for it, I just need to DO it!!!!
I have a full life since QIAD August 2007 was introduced to me. I can't even imagine to ever be bored. I need to live to become 200 years old to do all the things I still want to do in life.
During the auction (November 2008)for the Womens Shelter in Julian I won a book. In there is a pattern for wine bottles. If here is still a need for anyone needing this pattern, just PM me about it and I'll get the info out which book it is in.
