An extra Block or Two - Quilt Day for Cheyanne

Hi Ladies - Locally we held our quilt day for the "EXTRA BLOCK OR TWO" (original post further down in the category) It was a huge success thanks to so many of you wonderful ladies on this forum..without each and everyone of you we could not have had the great event we did. We received an overwhelming number of blocks and were able to do many differnt things with the blocks. Amazing that the blocks came from so many different people and with no specifics given by me - many of them blended as if you all knew what the other was sending. Cheyanne's Mom joined us for a short period of time and let us know that Cheyanne is trying to move legs, arms and eye lids. She still is on the ventilator and only shows emotion with one side of her face the other side they feel is damaged due to the strokes she suffered on the first couple of days. Her coma like state continues but these small movements are positive signs that she could still recover to some degree.

Well that didn't work either, I will try one more time then I need to go to bed it has been a very long day.....I will try to get all the pictures into the next post.

Looks like you have several to work with. I am glad. Hope you find some place for all of them , another child in need at hospital, what ever .

How wonderful! Glad the day turned out so well. Is that Lexie? Please let them know that we are praying for Cheyanne's recovery and strength for the family.

Hey, there seems to be an abundance of "Warm Fuzzies" with this quilt project! From those who donated blocks, to those who laid the blocks out, to those who sewed the blocks all together!
