Once again, the rules for Newbies...

This is not a regular swap. Each person makes either 2 or 4 blocks ,using the pattern and colors listed.The blocks are mailed to me,and each person has their name entered into a drawing to win ALL of the blocks.You will be entered once for each block you send.

Please put your blocks in a baggie,(they can be in one bag) and enclose one dollar for postage. Please be sure to put your name and address in the baggie,and if possible attach your FORUM name to EACH block,so the recipients will know who made them.
PM me for my address. The drawing is on the first of the following month from when the pattern is posted.

Here is our block...use any darker colors on a light contrasting color.

Lets do the Prairie Queen block,,,med to darks on a light background...sorry about the mistake. I just think the other one looks a little hard.

Any colors,,,but use a medium to dark for the main part,and a lighter with a good contrast for the background...I thought this was a cute block.

Thanks Caroline!

Hi Carolyn;

Thanks to Mary in MO (aka my Aunt M) I would like to jump in and make this my first internet friends project. Seems like a lot of fun and I've enjoyed seeing all of the past lotto blocks and projects on the other swaps. I think I'm up for 4 blocks. I appreciate the opportunity to participate!!

Thanks much,
Marg (OKC)

Caroline,

I don't know where you found this sight but I love it!

I don't think I can do this months block again. I'm making two quilts and I got to really focus on getting them done. I also have to put those Grandchildren lap quilts together. Too busy right now!

When somebody gets a chance to try this block....I'm thinking the flying geese parts of it would be so much easier to make El's way, but not sure about the measurments of it.

so if anybody tries it... will you share? And if I get BRAVE, and figure it out I'll share!! I love flying geese, but when I make them like the directions say, with 1 rectangle and 2 squares, mine always come up crooked.
