How can I see what comments I've added?

Post by morgans4 » Mon Sep 08, 2008 6:45 pm

Is there any way that I can track the comments that I added??? I'm afraid I'm going to sign myself up for something and not remember it later on if there isn't.

Not that I know of. I just write the swaps I'm in on a post-it note with the due date and stick it by my computer. So far it has worked for me.

Click on the "search" button on the upper right of the page then type your username in the search box. It will show you all the posts you've added. It is a good idea to write down the swaps you're in when you sign up, just in case something happens.

You can set up a chart in Excel or your Word programs and keep track that way. That is how I do it.

When I sign up for a swap, I create a word document and copy and paste all the information about the swap. If there are any comments (or pictures) about the swap that help me remember things, I will copy and paste those, too. Once I get the address to send the swap to, I add that to the document as well to help me keep everything in one place. I keep the current swaps on my desktop, and put the ones I finished into a QIAD folder on my desktop.

Then I print out the basic information of the swap and the address to put in my sewing room. (Sometimes I do a little cutting and pasting to condense the information and make that the last page of the document so I only have to print one page.)

Most of the time, if you are leaving comments, it isn't to sign up for something, so if you are trying to remember what you posted, you can do the 'search' thing that Leetec mentioned.

I got a cheap spiral notebook (large so I don't loose it in a pile of fabric....LOL) and write down any swap I sign up for with all the measurements, colors, and sizes and most importantly the DATE DUE, ect)

Those are great ideas. Wish I'd known them earlier. Weight Watchers has a place where you can go to see all your posts: that's what I was hoping for on this site.
Guess I'd just better get myself looking. Don't want to promise something I never send.
Thanks, you all.
