Quilt in a Day Forums

I am about to put mine together. I would like to see what others did. I looked in the photo section but since it was so long ago it must be deleted. This is the swap that was Sept/Oct 2007 time frame. I believe it was #2 Autograph block swap.

I have mine laid out on point. I was short a few blocks and had to add blank ones. I will write on each blank one the info about the quilt and then I won't need a label.

I was in that swap, and my blocks are still in the envelope I received them in, although when I got them I read them all. It is on my to do list, but other things have taken priority over that one. I have the backing to do it as well, bought that on sale last year. I'm eager to see yours, Kathy. HUGS, carol/kittyquilt

Here's mine! I have it here in OH with me, I keep it on the back of the recliner DH gave me for my birthday last year. I love it!
I still have to finish the first one but I have ideas of how I'm going to do that one.

I'm not finished but did put the blocks together. I'm getting this done soon; as soon as I stop signing up for more swaps. This one is very special.

Thanks! I hope to see more. I thought I was way behind, but I guess I'm not the only one. I too had to stop signing up for things so I could catch up with what I had in my sewing room to do.

I couldn't buy the QIAD fabric. I've been waiting for it to go on sale but it hasn't and I really wanted to get this done. I think the fabric I purchased will be fine althought now that it is going together I really wish I had waited for QIAD fabric. Oh well it looks okay. I had to stop for the evening as I am tired. May finish sewing the top tomorrow and get pictures on.

Anyone else have one to share?

I brought my Fall Quilt to the top over in Pics if you want to see how it is put together. I still need to put the one we did in 30's repro. fabrics together. Just not enough time. *sigh*

I finished my top today!
I love the way it came out. THANK YOU to all that joined in on this one. I had to add a couple of blocks. I used two I had like mine and wrote on them. Now the information is on the front and I won't need a label.
The color on the triangles and corners is more burgandy than it looks.
