Coffee/teapot Swap -- UPDATE SEPT. 19TH
UPDATE:
I will be mailing out teapots later today.
9/10/08
I do not want to leave anyone out but I don't know what is going on with Dj. I have sent pm and email messages and received no answer. The last word was that she had mailed the blocks priority mail, but that was over a week ago. I will wait until Saturday and then sort and mail back whatever blocks I have, if I do not receive Dj's blocks then everyone will be getting 2 of their own back.
As I said, I do not want to exclude anyone but because of personal circumstances and the fact that we are already a month overdue, I need to close up this swap. I have experssed my concerns to a few of you and explained my situation, to those that I have not gone into details with, I ask that you please be understanding.
I am still keeping my fingers crossed that Dj will come through by Saturday.
Ann

Yes, count me in!!! Now, to choose which teapot and pick my fabric--- the FUN part!!
I'm thinking of doing these with Eleanor's fusible interfacing method, and then appliqueing the edges... Would that work, do you think?

Gwen, if you can make one of each design and that way we can get a nice variety for each wall hanging.

okay, I will do that. Should I make them from different fabrics, too, or use the same fabric, and just different patterns?

Okay, here comes the "confused lady". I tried to calculate and flopped that course! Are we making 20 sets of 9 each? Or just 1 set of 9? I THINK 1 set of 9 by 20 people will give each person 9 blocks. Is that right?
If we're just making 9 blocks, ie., 1 set of 9 different pots, then I'm in. Please sign me up. Surely we can make 180 blocks! DUH, don't think I'm figurin' quite right. This sounds like fun and I love the patterns.
If I haven't thoroughly confused you, SewSew, let me know and I'll try again! LOL
Yes, sign me up, I'm in! Thanks bunches, carol/kittyquilt
