OK, gals - Time to catch up with all the blocks assigned so far. For January, we'll do the Log Cabin block. Story and directions start on page 84.
If you need inspiration, check out kenderosa's FINISHED - like REALLY finished, quilted and all! - quilt. Photos are posted in the Quilting Photos section, title "UGRR BOM Finally Finished!" It's GORGEOUS.
These are the blocks we've worked on so far:
Flying Geese - April
Crossroads - May
Drunkard's Path - June
Wagon Wheel - June
Shoo Fly - July
Sailboat - August
North Star - September
Underground Railroad - October
Monkey Wrench - November
Basket - December
When you finish your Log Cabin, you will have 11 blocks FINISHED - only 4 to go.
Let me know if you want to do more than 1 block each month. If your pieces are already cut out, it truly takes less than 1/2 hour to finish each block!
Happy New Year and Happy Quilting!
Ann

Re: UGRR BOM January Block
Ann ~ Thanks for all you are doing for this BOM. It is alot of work and you are doing a great job keeping everyone on track. This will be such a great quilt when it is done.
Sewcarolyn ~ I am so glad to hear that "Hidden in Plain View" is a good book. I just got it and planned to start it this month, now I can hardly wait. I think that starting the quilt this month is a great idea. If you do just let everyone know, there are some that are new here and some that are a wealth of information. Hope you do.
Happy stitching!!
