Chriss, I loved hearing your kitty stories from when you were young. It’s too bad baby kitties grow up. Now baby cats between the sheets would be different. My husband always teased that babies come from kissing.

I had a calico kitten when I was younger & her name was Pepper. My kitten 🐈⬛ Piper reminds me of her.

I hope everyone is enjoying making their home sweet home blocks! It’s finally sunny in Utah & no snow today. Yea!

Bev, I love your kitty! She's a beauty - a classic cat! Piper is a purrfect name! I'm so glad she found you! It sounds as if she's going to have a good home for the rest of her life. I'm always on the look out for stray kitties and I've warned DH if I see one he better get out of the way! lol! Dogs, too, for that matter. I've only lived a few months of my life without at least one cat. It was (p)awful.

We've almost always had cats growing up. My first dog is Moose, when got him about 8 years ago. I will never be without a dog ever again. He's a stinky butt but I can't imagine not having him.

Before I forget..... Here's my blocks

The 9 bird houses will all be a little different but the wonky houses are all pretty much the same.. though some may be more wonky than other. I swear I was stone cold sober when I stitched them!

OH and by the way... The Bird Houses with yellow openings... those are the houses where the birds are home because the light is on inside!

All so cute, Mary! I especially love the wonky houses!

LORI - at last report you were still trying to decide if you were going with dog houses. So - what did you decide? I want to update the block list in the opening post.

I love your two blocks Mary, but my favorite is the wonky one! Our village is coming together!

As soon as my dryer buzzes I will go start sewing down my houses. It would be wonderful if I made some real progress.
