Bev, we had a bit of confusion here. Turns out Kathy R made an extra set of 8 more tulip blocks. So as of right now, we are at 8. Midnight tomorrow tonite is deadline. Maybe we have a Midnight Lurker . . .

I'm being a little bit dence in the head here. What type of Easter blocks are being made? Pieced, applique??? What size should they be?
If I can find something easy and fast I'll sign up.

Yay Maryrose! They're 12½" blocks, pieced or appliqued. Let Maryz know which block you'll be doing...... if a block is already taken you'll have to find a different one so there's no repeats.......I think I answered your questions but there's ideas of Easter blocks on the original post and MZ can probably help too

Welcome, Mary Rose! You made it just under the wire! Glad to have you on board. Probably most of the questions you asked are covered in the opening post, but blocks are to be 12-1/2", pastel backgrounds of any color you choose. They can be pieced, appliqued, or foundation paper pieced. Embellish as you wish - or not. We already have a cross so you'll have to choose something else because we're hoping to not have any duplicates. You could do an Easter lily, an Easter bonnet, jelly beans, sunrise, baby chick, lamb, or even another bunny as long as it is very different from Chriss's as hers is very distinctive. You could even do a carrot! Everyone's choices are indicated in the opening post and most of us have posted pictures of the block we are making so I urge you to go back and read the thread so far. Any other questions, please ask! Deadline to have the blocks to me is April 30th, my little sister's birthday.

So everyone, we are now at 9. Going, going . . .

Sign-ups are closed Blocks are to be to me by April 30th, though, since we are only 9 I suspect everyone will be finished sooner. 9 it is. I have 8 made and will get the 9th done soon. Still haven't given those bunnies eyes and noses. Since they can't see they are bumping into walls, it's a mess.
