Not quite sure about my block size yet Tina. I don't want to do a square block. It will either be a tall rectangle or a long rectangle.

I'm debating, a row of stockings or a long tall stocking. I'm leaning toward a row, it will easily be more than the minimum width, just not sure of the length yet.

Lyn, had I taken a second spot I would have gladly given it up for you.

Hi, I stopped by to take a break, and WOW, we are all filled up. I pulled out some Christmas fabric and washed what had not been washed previously, started pressing and cutting out strips, and will audition color arrangement after taking a break.

Tina I will let you know what size my blocks will be once I get one made. LOL, I was calculating the size the block would finish at (which I always do twice as a double check) and came out with 2 different measurements. All I can say right now is that it will be big.

I love all the blocks everyone has posted so far.

Not sure of my size yet either, Tina. Will try two blocks. I tried one of them a bit ago, and it came out to 9 inches. I wanted to try to do two 6 1/2 to put together for 6 1/2 x 112 1/2, but just not sure it will work yet. My piece of candy came out cute though, and my DGS knew what it was right away, so I guess that is good.....

No problem Becky.
I'll start making notes of block sizes. Make sure after you have yours figured out that I have them up top please. I need reminders at times :)
