Okay, I'm finally getting around to looking at the bunny -- and when I lay the papers out-- it looks like my bunny is going to be too small... only about 11 1/4 inches finished... Is there something special that I'm supposed to do when I print it? Or maybe I'm not understanding how the pieces are joined together. I'm aligning the light colored lines on top of one another and taping-- is that the correct way to do it?

I knew there was a reason I have avoided paper piecing! LOL I think I need a teacher! :-)

Help!

I think I'll just work on my rosebud for now...

Okay, I just noticed that my printer scaling setting was set to "shrink to printable area", and when I selected "no scaling" it looks like the pieces may be larger--- I'm printing now, and I'll check it out.. Maybe I've solved my own problem! LOL

The printer setting change fixed the size-- it's correct now... And I've made the bunny-- he looks cute, but boy was he a doozy!!! LOL I don't think I'm cut out for paper-piecing-- I think I had to rip out every single stitch!! I'm sure it will get better with practice, but I am just glad to have the little baby done-- now on to the rosebud! :-)

I've still got to add my embroidery and an eye, but basically he's done.. I decided to go with a Springy yellow floral for the bunny-- will try to post a picture tomorrow...

Got my rosebud done now! I don't have the Egg Money book, so I used the Quilter's Cache method.

So, now I'm all ready for the next block! Hopefully I'll be able to keep up. I just counted, and I'm in 6 different sew-a-longs -- (this one, the UGRR, the 9 patch one, and two from Quilting Around the World-- a block of the month-which I'm doing in Halloween prints--- and a new one that is all applique- A Tisket a Tasket)! I think I just switched my addiction from block swaps to sew-a-longs and block-of-the-months...LOL :-) One thing for sure, it really does increase my productivity! But, it also adds to my UFO list...

OH, I had not thought about a printing problem. Sure enough, mine is only 11 5/8 finished. I guess I will have to figure out a way to fix it. I am going to try what Bamagirl did.

Valerie-to fix the printing problem just select "No Scaling" in printer preferences and it will work.
