Tina, I am such an awful housekeeper, and Jerry is only a little better at it than I am.

I got my shoes all cut out and ready for the background fabric. Tomorrow I will cut out my background and fuse my shoes.

I love swaps.

I made some good progress on my blocks this morning before moving to my yard. Got more yardwork done and sewing. And more sewing done then housework. I love my yard in the spring. And to further complicate my priorities, I decided to make a quilt to take to my sister-in-law in Alaska this summer. It’s all appliqué of Alaskan animals, flowers, and scenes. I have nine weeks to get it finished. But don’t worry, swap blocks are number one !

I have 12 cakes made. They are all exactly the same. I added 1/4 inch to the base of the pedestal so you can square up. I made my blocks 13". I hope you all like these.

I have 11 pairs of shoes sewn onto 11 backgrounds. I had a little set back, the power went out for about 45 minutes but I got back on track

Newx weekend will be sewing the blcoks down and if more sign up I will make more blocks

I got 8 of my blocks fused down. I'll get 4 more fused down tomorrow and start stitching them down. If anyone else signs up, I'll fuse and sew as the sign-ups occur. Tomorrow is the last day of my vacation. I wish I didn't have to go back yet, but we all know we have to take care of business in order to support our pleasures.

We have had a couple people ask about second set. If this is something you are interested in, feel free to sign up anytime. It looks like we will have enough slots.

Please check to make sure I have your name on the list. I do check in three or four times a day and I would sure hate to have missed someone, but it’s possible!
